In the ‘50s and ‘60s, doo wop was at every sock hop, malt shop, and drive-in. Now, supergroup The Doo Wop Project is recreating—and reimagining—some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history! The show starts like the genre itself did: with five guys singing tight harmonies on a street corner, then takes you on a journey of foundational tunes from groups like The Flamingos, The Miracles, and The Four Seasons, plus fresh (“DooWopified”) takes of today’s hits by artists like Adele, Jason Mraz, and Maroon 5. Featuring the stars of Jersey Boys, Motown: The Musical, and Hairspray, these guys have the vocal, dance, and bop-she-bop chops to bring the classics you know and love.
