Onstage Ogden actively works to engage, educate & elevate our community. Below are the great programs we offer to do just that.
Parents & Educators, introduce your students to the power of live performing arts with the ultimate field trip!
Onstage Ogden wants to help encourage and support young performers in our area. As part of this initiative, every year we provide several scholarships to aspiring young musicians & singers in the area. These funds are intended to help students pursue their music education, including paying for private lessons, music and instruments.
The Prelude Student Showcase (formerly the Youth Benefit Concert) provides young, aspiring musicians from our community with an opportunity to audition and perform in front of a larger audience and work with professional artists.
The Ogden Bach Festival returns to celebrate the works of one of our greatest & most influential composers: Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). Throughout a week in the Spring, a series of free concerts and events are held throughout Ogden to commemorate this musical genius.
Have a violin gathering dust in the attic? A trumpet you don’t know what to do with? Always meant to continue with flute lessons, but life just kept happening? Then consider donating it to Onstage Ogden’s Used Instrument Drive! We will clean up and repair your gently-used instruments and provide them, free-of-charge to beginner music students.
Youth Guild members serve as volunteer ushers at our concerts and is open to all students in 8th through 12th grade. Perks include complimentary tickets, family discounts & social events. Plus, it looks terrific on a college application!
SOCIAL SERVICE TICKET DONATION
As part of our commitment to community, Onstage Ogden donates more than 1,000 tickets each season to community nonprofit social service organizations for distribution to their clients: students in after-school programs, seniors in continuing education, athletes in adaptive sports programs, veterans in job training, etc.
